ABOUT THE SONG:
The first instrumental on the album... well, okay. There are a few words sung, but not much. This piece was written during the first few days of the COVID-19 shut down. Sometimes, I'll sit down in my little studio, start up the recording and just see what comes out. This day, the musical heavens were open and The Question Room was born.
The song reminds me of tense "in-between" moments... It's like that time when there is a persistent uncertainty and uneasiness regarding something big that happened. Your brian is being pulled in so many unfamiliar directions and anxiety is high. I look at the "Question Room" as the inner place you go to in order to make sense of things. It is a conduit to a metamorphosis.
This song should be the theme song to a television crime drama.
